SquintScope® OCT Session
The video shows an example of a succesful OCT session with an otherwise not-so-calm toddler!. By letting the child watch the video in the SquintScope OCT device the other eye is fixated in a degree that allows for a good OCT scan.
For a crosseyed child with esotropia, the SquintScope “standard” will straighten the other eye, so OCT or fundus photo can be achieved.
Normal OCT Session
The same toddler as in the above session – the parents are trying to keep the child calm and still, to be able to perform an OCT – but it is not possible for the child to maintain fixation long enough for the OCT to be performed.
This session was performed before the session with SquintScope.
