SquintScope® OCT Session
The video shows an example of a succesfull OCT session with an otherwise not so calm toddler. By letting the child watch the video in the SquintScope OCT device the other eye is fixated in a degree that allows for a good OCT scan.
For a crosseyed child with esotropia, the SquintScope “standard” will straighten the other eye, so OCT or fundusphoto can be achieved.
Normal OCT Session
The same toddler as in the above session – the parents are trying to keep the child calm and still to be able to perform an OCT – but it wasn’t possible to get fixation for long enough.
This session was performed before the session with SquintScope.
